  • What should you know about Danyang ?

 

 

  • The cultural and historical city of Danyang (丹阳) was one of the fifteen counties designated by the Qin Dynasty in 221 BC. At that time it had been called Quhe and later Yunyang. In Chinese, alder tree is read as chiyang (赤杨), which means red poplar, chi (red) can also be written as dan (丹), yang (杨/阳) as “the sun”.
  • During the Tang Dynasty there had been a lot of alder trees growth here, so since the year 742 AD the city had been renamed Danyang

  1. Salary and benefits:

 

 

  • Salary : 14000 – 17000 RMB / month  after tax ( depends on teacher’s qualification)
  • Single apartment provided or Housing allowance : 2000 RMB after tax / month
  • Flight ticket to China provided upfront
  • Relocation bonus : 10000 RMB ( receive this amount of money with your 1st month salary)
  • TEFL reimbursement : 3000 RMB ( receive this amount of money with your 1st month salary)

 

    • Airfare bonus : 8000 RMB ( receive this amount of money at the end of the contract)

 

  • Health insurance : 12 months coverage
  • 2 weeks training paid in Beijing  
  • Demo lesson bonus on top of your salary
  • Extra salary for any extra teaching hours

 

 

  1.  Teaching experience at our school  

  • Student age : 3 – 10 years old
  • Class size : 8 – 10 students / class
  • Local teaching assistants are available
  • 16 teaching hours, 16 office hours, 2 training hours / week
  • All the Chinese national holidays off and paid fully
  • Opportunity to get promoted

 

  1. Requirements for our candidates

 

  • Hold a passport from Native English Speaking countries
  • Age below 40  
  • Loves working with young learners and have passion for education
  • Willing to learn and grow with the school
