Teach Away is now looking for 5 culturally aware ESL Instructors for teaching positions in District 5 of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Experienced ESL teachers who possess a TEFL/TESL certificate will be placed within international and governmental language schools.
Based in one of Vietnam’s largest cities, teachers can expect to teach students ranging from young children (7-15 years of age) to adults (16-50 years of age). Teachers will be involved in the instruction of the English language, but will also have responsibilities such as student counselling and curriculum development.

Student Level: Children (7-15) & Adults (16-50)
Monthly Salary: $15-$19/hour; approximately $20,000 USD/year
determined based on qualifications & experience
Number of Vacancies: 5
Contract Duration: 1 Year
Number of Students: varies depending on class age and group
Number of Foreign Teachers: 40-50 teachers
Working Hours: 25 hrs/week on average; flexible schedule
Accommodation: Assistance finding an apartment
Vacation: 4 weeks unpaid

Qualifications: Native English speaker
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (English major preferred)
ESL Certification (TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, DELTA or equivalent)
Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (preferred)
Experience/Travel in Vietnam (preferred)
