The qualified candidate for the position of Director of ESL at Wesley College will have a Master’s degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) or International Studies, and experience in the following areas: developing and implementing ESL programs for revenue generation, teaching ESL courses, advising international students, processing J-1 and F-1 Visas, and developing orientation sessions for incoming international students. The Director of English as a Second Language Program will serve as an active member of the Global Initiatives Leadership Committee with full participation in related activities.

This position requires that the successful candidate work with the Director of Global Initiatives to design an ESL program that is innovative, vibrant and self-sustaining. It is an exciting opportunity for the ideal candidate to implement best practices in the area of English as a Second Language, and in doing so, build an exemplary program.
