Job Type: Hourly/ Adjunct

Location: Vienna, Virginia

Work Cycle: 6 -12 Week Sessions

Responsibilities: Brydon English Language Institute seeks for qualified, experienced ESL instructors who are enthusiastic about their field.

Minimum Qualifications:

* A Bachelor’s degree

* A minimum of two years of teaching/tutoring experience

* Knowledge of second language teaching

* Knowledge of teaching methods and techniques

* Knowledge of English structure, usage and levels of style;

* Sensitivity to students from other cultures

* Excellent oral and written communication and human relations skills

* Ability to interact effectively with students, staff, faculty

* Ability to plan lessons for courses

* Ability to participate in program review when needed

Preferred Additional Qualifications:

* Master’s degree

* Fluency in another language

* Membership of a professional Association related to English teaching and learning

* Ability to participate actively in professional development activities
