Zoni Language Centers has immediate FT and PT opportunities for ESL Teachers in our Midtown Manhattan, Queens (Jackson Heights and Flushing), and West New York, NJ campuses.

 Responsibilities include: 

    * Preparing lesson plans and instructing adults in ESL courses
    * Monitoring student performance
    * Advising students on progress
    * Administering written and oral exams
    * Taking student attendance
    * Grading student exams
    * Other duties as directed

  Requirements: 

    * Candidates must have a BA in Education, Communication, or any related field
    * 1 year of ESL adult teaching experience in a classroom setting (sorry, tutoring and volunteer work does not meet this requirement)

        or

    * Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL certificate)

NOTE: Applicants who have obtained their education outside the US and its territories must have proof that their academic degree has been validated as an equivalent to a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, conferred by a regionally accredited college or university in the U.S. – this is not a service provided by Zoni.
