Swansea University English Teacher Needed

Closing date: Thursday 23 April 2009.

Salary scale: £30,594 to £35,469 per annum

Applications are invited for the position of English Language Tutor in the English Language Training Services (ELTS), Reference 5082.

The post will involve the delivery and development of current CELTA and upcoming DELTA provision within ELTS, and a significant teaching contribution to the year round delivery of all ELTS programmes.

The successful applicant will have a first degree, RSA DTEFLA or equivalent qualification in English language teaching, significant experience of working on a variety of EFL / EAP language programmes in the UK and overseas within a teaching environment as well as some previous teacher training experience. The post holder should also have proven skills of working in a multi-team context. Excellent classroom teaching skills, intercultural communication skills, good IT skills and substantial experience of working with international students are essential requirements for this position.
