At each of our centres, we require a Centre Director, Centre Administrator, Head of Pastoral Care, Head of Sports/Activities, Head Teacher as well as EFL Teachers, Senior Welfare Leaders and Activity Leaders.

About Us

Ardmore Language Schools, established for over 25 years, run Summer English Language and Cultural Holidays for students, aged between 9-17 years old, from all over the world. Ardmore organise a wide variety of language programmes at residential boarding schools, colleges and host family centres. We offer mini-stays and cultural programmes in over 50 towns and cities throughout the UK.

Our main objective is for our students to enjoy their visit to England (the first visit for many), experience our culture and improve their English in a safe and friendly environment. In addition, students participate in a wide range of sports and recreational activities plus excursions to places of interest. Position: Head Teacher

Benefits: £450 — £525 per week includes full board and accommodation.

Your role
The Head Teacher (HT) is responsible for the implementation, smooth running, administration and, ultimately, successful delivery of all aspects of the Summer School Academic Programme. The HT will manage the teaching staff to create a positive, enthusiastic team to deliver a high quality programme. The HT must ensure that every student benefits from their lessons by providing guidance and support on all aspects of lesson preparation and delivery. The HT will lead the Induction Day for EFL teachers

Requirements
• CELTA or Trinity Cert TESOL / PGCE / TEFL.
• Over 2 years full time EFL experience is essential.
• The ability to lead and manage an academic team with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Previous summer school/residential experience is recommended.
• DELTA recommended.
