Cluster Manager

Take the lead in the education reform currently underway in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Teach Away is now looking for 15 experienced principals and vice principals with experience in administration to work as Cluster Managers at public schools throughout the emirate. Cluster Managers should expect to advise, train, and evaluate school principals to ensure consistency in the reform. Cluster managers will usually work in 5 or 6 schools in a community and will be responsible for supporting the development of the education system in Abu Dhabi.

Organizational abilities, efficiency, decision-making skills, and multi-tasking capabilities are qualities that will ensure a smoothly running team. A dedicated group of Cluster Managers will ensure that the 1063 Licensed Teachers arriving in August 2010 are receiving the training, academic support, and resources necessary for a successful educational reform.

Contract Duration: 2 years
Location: Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Al Gharbia
Working Hours: 07:30-14:00, Sunday to Thursday
Monthly Salary: Lucrative Tax Free Salary (based on government scale)

REQUIREMENTS
• Masters Degree or higher in related field
• Minimum 3-5 years teaching experience (primary or secondary)
• Experience as a principal/vice-principal in 1 or more schools
• Experience with educational reform or international teaching preferred
• Native English Speaker
