English Across the Subjects (EATS) is a well-respected and high-quality English language learning program operating in Czech public schools since 2004. EATS is a dynamic program that combines high academic teaching standards and interaction with teachers from other cultures, allowing Czech children to experience different educational styles and methods as well as providing them with access to a future of greater opportunity. EATS is currently looking for qualified native speaking English teachers for the 2009-2010 school year at its Prague 3 elementary school. We seek only dedicated teachers who wish to teach young learners (ages 6-11) and who are able to make at least a one-year commitment to the program (Sept-June). A university degree and a TESL/TEFL or similar certificate is required. Prior experience working with children is preferred. Applicants must be currently living in Prague or planning to move to Prague by May 2009. Non-EU residents must have legal working status or have begun the visa application process. We offer steady teaching hours (minimum 8 hours/week), a competitive hourly wage of between 300-400kc gross, as well assistance with finalizing legal working status for non-EU residents. We also offer an on-site accredited training program focused on teaching English to young learners.
