Professor of English as a Foreign/Second Language

The EFL Teacher Training Program of the School of English at Universidad Catolica del Norte, Chile, invites Applications for Professors of English as a Foreign/Second Language, tenure-track, beginning August 1st 2009. Area of Specialty open, but specialists in EFL / ESL teaching and Teacher Training are especially encouraged to apply.
Qualifications: M.A. or Ph.D. in TESOL or related field and native or near-native-level fluency in English and ability to function in a Spanish-speaking environment required. We are seeking candidates with a strong commitment to language teaching and teacher training. Applicants must also indicate their willingness to teach literature and culture courses as well as introductory language courses. Experience in language exams preparation is a plus.
