<p>• Teachers will be teaching 18-22 periods per week (one period = 50 minutes), but this may</p>

<p>• The first semester runs from May 18 to October 18.</p>
<p>• The second semester runs from November 1 to February 2012</p>
<p>• All teachers should arrive in Thailand before the first semester begins. This means</p>
<p>teachers need to be in Thailand for the May 4 to 6 cultural and social training period.</p>
<p>• Teachers will have to take a short training course about Thai culture and teaching English</p>
<p>as a foreign language a week before teaching commences. The company will cover the full</p>

The Korean Ministry of Education hires English speakers to work in the public school system alongside Korean teachers of English. Guest teachers help plan and execute language lessons to students in primary and secondary schools. They assist in preparing teaching materials and planning activities. They also conduct English conversation classes for school faculty. In most cases, the guest English teacher is the only foreign teacher in the school, and as a result, this is an excellent way to really immerse oneself in Korean life and culture. <li>Salary scale beginning at 35,000-45,000baht per month dependant on qualifications and experience.</li>
<li>12 months contract, which can be extended for additional benefits, including a guaranteed salary increase.</li>
<li>4 weeks paid holiday per year (8 weeks for renewing teachers) and all official holidays are paid – approx 13-15 days</li>
<li>End of Contract bonus up to 25,000 baht</li>

<li>Assistance in obtaining a Non-B visa</li>
<li>Work permit, and teacher’s license</li>
<li>Western Management.</li>

<p><strong>Working Conditions: </strong></p>

<li>Teaching hours range from 15-22 a week.</li>
<li>Class sizes range from 28-32 students per class.</li>
<li>School hours are approximately 07:30-16.30 Monday to Friday.</li>

<li>Hold an accredited Bachelors degree or higher (in a core subject-based area). Exceptional candidates with no experience will be considered</li>
<li>Minimum of one year of teaching experience preferably in Thailand</li>
<li>Provide original education diplomas, certificates, and transcripts.</li>
