Wattsenglish International TEFL Certificate (WITC) – training program focused on teaching English to young learners, accredited by the Ministry of Education Youth and Sport. Standard price of the training course is 8000,- CZK. For Wattsenglish teachers, who complete their first year contract the WITC is free.Compensation• FULL TIME POSITIONS Competitive salary up to 20,000 CZK gross per month. The teacher is obliged to complete a monthly average of 35 hours per week. Of this the teacher will be expected to teach no more than 25 hours on average per week spread over a monthly period. The two EdCentres in Val Mez and Vsetin employs 20-25 full and part-time teachers. Although we also teach German and Czech for foreigners, the vast majority of our courses are EFL and ESP. We offer the widest variety of language services in the region and pride ourselves on our professional and friendly approach to teaching.

We are currently seeking talented and motivated full-time native-speaking English facilitators who can commit to a 10-12-month contract commencing in September 2011. We require teachers who are knowledgeable in English grammar and sensitive to the needs of adult learners. Candidates will ideally have a bachelor’s degree, 1 to 2 years’ experience teaching abroad and qualifications in Teaching English as a Second Language or Foreign Language(e.g. CELTA, TEFL, etc). While EU citizens are preferred other candidates will be considered if necessary.

Successful candidates will teach 25-35 45-minute lessons weekly excluding school holidays. Lessons are to focus on English grammar, conversation and business English. Our students are mainly professional adults who either attend courses in EdCentre’s modern learning facility or learn in the workplace. However, teachers may teach a handful of children’s English courses, as well.

We provide the following: a competitive gross salary starting at CZK195/45-min lesson depending on experience and qualifications; a very pleasant working environment; the opportunity to work in an exceptional team of dedicated teachers; assistance with acquiring work permit and visas; and assistance in finding accommodation (full medical and dental insurance and social insurance are included).
