This is a collective recruiting project by the Hsinchu City Government and Ministry of Education in Taiwan. Hsinchu City has the first high-tech science park and has been trying to be more internationalized. Therefore the city government decided to recruit certified foreign teachers for public schools. It has been very successful and you are welcome to join.
Location: Hsinchu City (northern Taiwan)

School Type: Public Elementary School (Tax-Free)
Student age: G1~G6
Starting: ASAP
Materials: Provided by school, but teacher may help design and improve
Working hours: Mon~Fri, around 8am~4pm
Teaching hours: 24 classes a week, 40 mins per class

Salary: NT60890/mth (USD1983) (Tax-Free)
End-of-year bonus: up to 1 month salary (depending on performance)
Housing allowance: NT5000/mth (about half of the rent in this city)
Airfare reimbursement: up to NT30000 (USD977) per trip
Work permit: paid by the government
Resident visa: paid by the government (but not the visitor’s visa)
ARC: paid by the government
Requirements:
(1)Must be a native English speaker, with a passport from RSA / USA / CA / UK / IRE / AU / NZ.
(2)Officially certified K-12 teacher by your local government (normally it’s a teacher’s license).
