Serious Teachers for Challenging Assignment in Africa’s Largest Country

We are a young English language institute, located in Khartoum by the Blue Nile. Our clients range from government ministries and large corporates to individual adults and children seeking to better themselves and their country. We run classes for grammar, IELTS, TOEFL, conversation and a wide range of tailor-made business english courses.

Due to both a bereavement and illness in one of our teacher’s family, we are urgently looking to fill the posts of Assistant Director and Business English Teacher. We are serious about our teaching and we want to hear from candidates who feel the same, seeking more than just a means to travel or learn another language. We offer contracts for a year, but would also consider short-term applicants. Contracts can be renewed and we would be delighted if you wanted to stay on and we wanted to keep you.

Khartoum is a fascinating mix of Arabic and African influences but no place for party animals. It can be very hot and dusty and power cuts can disrupt computers and air conditioning at a moment’s notice. Sudanese people are very kind and hospitable but not always punctual. All of this means that we need people who are very talented, very flexible and very patient.
