Job Description:

EFL Teachers to work on Intensive English and Sports Summer Course for children based in Zaragoza, Spain. Most positions for the July Course (23rd June to 22nd July) and some for August (22nd July to 19th August). EFL qualifications and/or experience are a clear advantage as the course is intensive, Monday to Friday, non-residential, weekends free. Teachers live in city centre of Zaragoza.Positions also available for English-speaking Sport/Swimming Instructors. Spanish language not required.

Details: EFL Teachers who enjoy working with children required to work on Intensive English and Sports Course for Spanish children, aged between 5 and 18, in Zaragoza, North East Spain, in Summer (22ndJune to 26th August 2006). Contracts are usually for 4 weeks but 2, 6 or 8-week contracts are also available. Most staff are required from 23rd June to 20th July so availability for these dates is an advantage. Positions are full-time EFL from Monday to Friday with weekends free. The course is essentially non-residential so Teachers are accommodated in shared apartments in the city centre and travel out to the school by coach each day, although some residential positions are available on the peak dates. Zaragoza is a buzzing, cosmopolitan city close enough to the coast, Pyrenees, Barcelona, Pamplona, Madrid etc for weekend visits.

Qualifications: Teachers should have degree-level education. EFL qualifications and/or experience are a clear advantage as work is intensive. Since the jobs involve teaching children from 5 to 18 years of age in the classroom, we have found over the years that Primary School Teachers and PGCE graduates, interested in the challenge of working with Spanish children, are also well suited to these positions.

Vacancies are also available for qualified Sports and/or Swimming Instructors whose native tongue is English to teach Sport and Swimming classes on this Intensive English and Sports Course.

Compensation: The Basic Gross Monthly salary is 1000€. Bonuses are also awarded based on results achieved by students and work appraisal. Travel and accommodation expenses are not covered by the company.(There are direct flights from London Stansted to Zaragoza daily with Ryanair.)

Successful applicants must attend a Presentation and Interview session to be held from 22nd to 27th March 07 in Edinburgh (22nd), Dublin (24th), Manchester (25th), Cardiff (26th), London (27th) and in Zaragoza in April.
