Language Academy Director Needed in Spain

New Language Academy opening in January 2009.

We are looking for a long time commitment (minimum 1 year),some one that would be there in the beginning and will be there to follow up and make sure things go as plan. We would offer a 12 month contract where our Academy director will help us in all the pre-opening, opening and day to day running; making it a Professional Language Academy.

For the Pre Opening: 1.-Programme design. 2.-Individual course design / focus. 3.-Finding and training teachers in those programs. 4.- Research: Course material / audiovisuals / recommended text books. 5.-Help in the making of our brochures and website (also translating to English).

Day to day running: 1.-Creation, compilation and editing of a teacher’s manual. 2.- Follow up on the pupils and teachers progress . 3.-Teaching Monday to Fridays from 4:00 to 9:00 . 4.-Being at the Academy Saturdays from 9:00 am till 2:00 pm for our weekly management meeting, Assisting and counselling students. Planning new programs and developing new ways to expand our business, for example summer courses, summer camps, one week immersion, etc.
