Salary, Benefits and Compensation Package

v  $1000 dollar salary per month

v  Fully paid training session and cultural acclimatization period prior to teaching

Teaching Brief

Working days: Monday through Friday and possibly half-day Saturday

Working Hours: 8 hours a day Monday through Friday and possibly 4 hours on Saturday. Please note that working hours do not necessarily mean teaching hours as your time may be used for preparation either at home or at the institute.

Class Size: Between 9-16 students

Student Level: Mainly adults

Target audience: Government officials, business executives, and general Rwandan public.

Responsibilities:

v  Teaching English or Business English as a foreign language in the communicative/conversational approach

v  Preparing class materials and lessons

v  Preparing, organizing, and delivering “Open House” events if applicable

v  Developing, enhancing, and modifying curriculum offerings in response to class dynamics

v  Delivering course and student performance evaluations

v  Preparing and delivering customizable instruction packages if and as required

v  Generating Impact!

Qualifications

1. v  Bachelor degree or higher
2. v  Native English speaker
3. v  Ability to commit to a one year contract
4. v  No previous teaching experience required but experience is a plus
5. v  TEFL/TESOL/CELTA/TESL diploma or equivalent
6. v  Passionate, motivated, and impact-hungry!
