Teach English - Rangoon, Myanmar | ESL TEFL Job
Teachers Wanted for The British Council Burma – Myanmar
The British Council Burma is looking for teachers of English to join our friendly, flexible and committed team in Rangoon. We are looking for teachers available for either April, May or July 2009 starts. You will be able to deliver high quality lessons to adults and young learners. Burmese children are delightful to teach and our teachers rarely experience discipline problems. There may also be a chance to teach social studies and global issues on our capacity building and leadership programme. Together with our management skills courses we offer one of the most varied teaching environments in the network with plenty of opportunities for self-development and a real sense of purpose to the work we do. Teachers enjoy a comparatively high standard of living and generous holidays. Teachers save enough to travel or visit the beach for a weekend. We offer a competitive salary (sterling and US dollars), return flights to the UK each year, 40 days leave plus local holidays and full allowances. For further information, including a full job description and how to apply, please see http://trs.britishcouncil.org.
