Small School on Isla Mujeres near Cancun, Mexico is hiring two English teachers. La Gloria English School is a small non-profit with the mission of giving the opportunity to learn English to anyone who wants it, regardless of financial resources. We teach classes for students from 4 yrs through adult. We emphasize oral communication over reading and writing. The goal is for our students to use spoken English to make a better living.
Qualifications:
1. native speaker of North American English,
2. can communicate with ease in Spanish,
3. have lesson planning experience of at least one year,
4. have teaching experience of at least one year,
5. have training or experience teaching ESL or Spanish.
6. be willing to care deeply about the students.
8. be willing to work cooperatively with other teacher, share bath (not living quarters)
