Title: English as a Foreign Language Teacher (efl) 

Terms of Employment: Permanent (tenure track), Full Time,

Net Salary: $10,000 Mexican pesos per month plus social benefits

Anticipated Start Date: August 2008 

Location:  Ixtepec,  Oaxaca,  Mexico. 

Skill Requirements: Teaching skills, computer skills 

Education: Completion of university , minimum: B. A. in a field related to ESL/EFL

Experience: 1 - 2 years

Languages: English (native speaker), Spanish (good)

Age ranges and levels of students: 18-25,   Beginners to Intermediate

Area of Instruction: English as a foreign language

Specific Skills: Teach, prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses. Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students’ progress. Review the syllabus. Tutoring. Small scale research.

Additional Skills: Use audio-visual equipment and “CIT”.

Teaching Audience: Undergraduate students

Teaching Format: Classroom and language lab

Working hours per week: 40 (maximum 15 hours per week class contact, remaining time for class and material  preparation, tutoring and research)
