Teachers work 40 hours a week on campus but only 14-19 classroom hours. Teachers have their own office and PC. Take home pay is approximately $1000 U.S. per month plus benefits. Benefits include healthcare, fondo de ahorro savings plan, bonus, and paid vacation after one year.

Applicants MUST have a B.A., TESL (or equivalent), and one year teaching experience in ESL. Native speakers ONLY. DO NOT APPLY IF NOT QUALIFIED

Knowledge of Spanish preferred.

Miahuatlan de Porfirio Diaz is located in the Mexican state of Oaxaca in the Sierra Sur mountain range. It is located 2 hours south of Oaxaca (state capital, charming colonial city) and 3 and a half hours north of tropical beaches.
