In addition to the three campuses successfully established, TOPIA EZ plans to open 4~5 new campuses in the metropolitan area within 2008.

Our elementary students study at TOPIA English Zone for 6 fifty-minute periods per week, and our semesters run for 3 months. In the 12-week program, each level has specific tasks that the students are expected to accomplish in order to proceed to the next level. The junior-high division runs 8 fifty-minute periods per week, each semester for 6 months.

All of our curricula, syllabi and tests for both divisions are developed and tested by our Research and Training Center consisting of more than 40 experienced and knowledgeable researchers. The teacher need not decide what to teach but rather focus time and energy on how to implement the given materials according to the dynamics established in the various classrooms.

 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teaching scheduled classes and correcting student assignments/tests (26 to 30 classes per week + teacher prep/administrative time).

• Regularly reviewing, assessing and reporting student progress.

• Participation in teacher’s training, workshops and meetings.

• Interviewing new students

 QUALIFICATIONS

• Passion for teaching children

• Education-related major preferred but not necessary. MA degree is a plus

• Teaching experience preferred but not required.

• BA degree from the USA, Canada (from an English University with majority of courses taken in English), or UK.

• Valid passport from the USA, Canada, or UK.

 COMPENSATION/BENEFITS

• Salary: 2.2M KRW per month and above

• Contract Completion Bonus: amount equivalent to one month’s salary is paid upon completion of one-year contract term

• Overtime potential: any class taught in addition to the agreed class load is compensated in accordance with the company policy

• Condominium Housing Allowance: including furnished single (no roommate) studio or one bedroom apartments

• Roundtrip airfare: applicable for teachers coming from abroad

• Health Insurance: 50% of the premium covered by the company

• Vacation: 10-day (2 weeks) vacation PLUS all Korean National Holidays (per year) Month
