ESL PLANET, one of the largest PUBLIC SCHOOL recruiters in South Korea, would like to invite all eligible applicants to submit applications for the 2010 Public school intake in February.

 With last semester seeing more teachers than ever applying, an EARLY APPLICATION will ensure you have the best chances of acceptance. The EPIK deadline to apply for the Feb/March 2010 Teaching jobs is December 1^st 2009.Why you should work at a public school: You can make between 2,100,000 and 2,500,000 won (R13,000-R16,000) per month, depending on your qualifications and experience.

Your school provides you with a furnished apartment which you don’t have to pay for.

The school will also pay for your flight to South Korea and back home on completion of your contract.

You can get 20 working days paid leave including weekends and public holidays it can come up to a month of vacation which is great for traveling.

You get a settlement allowance of about 400,000 won (R2,500) to get you started when you first get to South Korea.

Public school is government run so you have job security, your salary is paid on time and you have a legitimate contract that is legally binding.

Because of all the tests, exams, public holidays and school vacation, public school teachers often find themselves with a lot of free time at school, going home early and extra days off.

Working hours are usually from 8:30am until 4:30pm.

You also get an extra month’s salary at the end of each one year contract as severance.   We are accepting application forms now.

You must be:
* between 21 and 55 years old
* holding a bachelor’s degree
* holding a passport from one of the 7 English Speaking countries
* expats need to have completed education in one of these countries from middle school
* of excellent health
* clear of any criminal records
