Job Description:

Teaching in a Private Public School setting, the teacher will follow the clear parameters of a curriculum. This sponsors consistency while still allowing for creativity on the teacher’s part. The position requires 100 teaching hours monthly; classes are 40 minutes long. It is one of the most prestigious schools in Seoul. Many students will have extensive international experience. There are 8 other foreigner teachers in the English department alone. Working hours are from 8:30-4pm Monday – Friday. Class sizes are 10 or less.

Work Type:

Teach in a Private Public School. This opportunity is unlike a hagwon (private language institute) because you teach a public school curriculum, work public school hours, and still get the benefit of an extended vacation allowance.

#2 ASAP – SEOUL: Positions at various Language Institutes

Work Type:

This opportunity offers a position at a brand new English Language School facility. The teacher will follow a set curriculum, cutting the necessary preparation time drastically. A maximum of ten students allows the teacher to focus on the students individually which promotes learning and lets the teacher enjoy more success.

Location:

Situated in the Western area of Seoul, the school is very close to all the Western amenities. Shopping centers, restaurants, coffee shops and bus routes are all only minutes away. The capital of South Korea, Seoul offers unrivaled nightlife. This is one of the largest cities in the world. The proximity to other English schools means that there are always many other Westerners and for that reason, the foreigner community is very well established in Seoul.

Work Term:

One year contract beginning between March 20th

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary is 2.2 Million Won paid monthly.

In addition, the successful applicants will receive:

There are several jobs available on the island right now. They are all in the affluent area of Jeju City, the biggest city on the island. Work Term:

One year contract beginning between (ASAP) and April, depending on the position.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary ranges from 2.0-2.2 Million Won paid monthly, based on experience and position.

In addition, the successful applicants will receive:

• • Furnished apartment rent free for the duration of the contract

  • Roundtrip airfare

  • Medical Insurance and Pension contributions

  • 2 Weeks Paid Vacation

  • All National and School Holidays paid vacation

  • Completion Bonus equivalent to one month’s salary

Must be in Korea now and looking to extend your visa.

Successful applicants MUST have native level English proficiency (born in an English speaking country like Canada, USA, England, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, or Australia) and have a 4-year University degree.
