Starting date: ASAPOur organization and teacher responsibilities:Experienced instructors are needed to instruct elementary-high school level classes in Busan, South Korea. Located in a modern business center near the beach in a city of 4 million, our school anticipates a steady volume of students for English classes that cover a variety of subjects. Our organization is administered by an international staff and seeks professional teachers who work well with children and adolescents.

Instructors will be in charge of classes designed with age specific levels and curriculum. Teachers will also need to conduct initial placement tests and periodic assessment tests throughout the course of each semester. Class materials will be revised and discussed with the support of an academic director.

Preferred Skills:

Applicants must have a minimum 2 years professional teaching experience.
Teacher training and curriculum/materials development experience are a
plus.

Teaching hours:
Teachers will work 120 hours per month in the afternooon and evening. Prospective teachers may have the opportunity to accept paid overtime hours if requested.

Requirements:

* Native English Speaker from USA /Canada.
* BA/BS in English, Education, Applied Linguistics, or related fields.
Master’s degree preferred but not required.
* Successful applicants should be flexible and willing to accept relevant tasks such as attending feedback sessions and school presentations

Benefits:

* Visa and work permits arranged by the school
* 10 days paid vacation plus all Korean holidays
* Salary: 2,500,000 to 3,000,00 South Korean Won negotiable and commensurate with qualifications and experience
* Severance pay at the end of contract term as one-month salary
* Round-trip ticket provided. One way reimbursed upon arrival. The remainder will be reimbursed at the end of the contract.

* Housing
Two options available:
1.School will provide a furnished studio style apartment near the school for free.
2.Self-search in which the school will provide a monthly subsidy at the amount of 400,000 KRW and one time only settlement allowance of 300,000 KRW.
* Shared coverage of national medical insurance: (50-50)
* Income Tax withheld is 3 to 3.5 % from salary
