British Council Position

We are recruiting enthusiastic and creative teachers for our summer school programme in the Amman Teaching Centre. The contract dates are 21 June to 13 August. There will be a short induction before courses begin. Our summer courses are for Young Learners (7 -11), Teens (11 – 15) in addition to some adult courses. The centre is in an attractive villa in the centre of Amman and is fully equipped with YL materials. We also have a pleasant terrace area for teachers and a cafe on site. You will also have ample opportunity to explore this beautiful country and visit Petra, one of the New 7 Wonders of the world, float in the Dead Sea, camp in the desert and dive in the Red Sea. Flights and accommodation will be paid. You will have a first degree, at least a certificate level TEFL qualification, two years’ post qualification EFL teaching experience.
