Profile
ª Min. 10 years of editorial experience in the field of academic publishing
ª Working knowledge of conventions, practices and trends across all academic fields
ª Should preferably have worked with an international journal reputed for its quality of scientific language and research
ª Preferably would have acted as a peer reviewer or has been part of an article/research review committee.

Other attributes
ª In-depth/insider perspective on the role of language in academic publishing and on
ª trends and practices in academic editing
ª Ability to pass on this knowledge to editors through training programs/sessions
ª Should be able to streamline/build training and quality systems to ensure that role objective is met

Roles and responsibilities
ª Critique existing services and quality and training systems and align them to requirements of top international journals
ª Assist in service-level enhancements and in conceptualizing and launching new services
ª Drive/deliver training to meet the objective of the role
ª Assist in educating clients on the role of language in scientific publishing
