We are currently accepting applications for jobs in Hong Kong to teach within the Hong Kong public school system.  These positions are unique and are offered through Teach Away in conjunction with the Hong Kong Education Bureau.

***These positions are for Certified Primary and Secondary North American Teachers Only – TESL over 100 hrs accepted***

Contract Duration:         2 years

Location:                      All across Hong Kong

Student Level:               Secondary (SNET); Primary (PNET)

Teaching Schedule:       08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday

Monthly Salary:             HK$22,985 to HK$48,470 (approx.  $3000 – $6500)/month

Visa:                             Sponsored by the school

Housing:                       Housing allowance of HK$14,250/month (approx $2000)

Flight:                           Roundtrip air reimbursed upon arrival for up to 5 family members

Vacation:                      National holidays, summer vacation (flexible, determined by school)

Medical Insurance:         Allowance for family Health Care

Additional Benefits:       Bonus Pay, Retention Bonus, Cash Advances on Salary

QUALIFICATIONS

- University Undergraduate Degree (any discipline), BA in English preferred

- Teaching License in home state or province required (except for primary teachers that hold a TESL certificate over 100 hrs)

- Native English Speaker

- TESOL, TEFL, TESL Certification (Preferred for Secondary, Required for Primary)
