Teach English - Easter Island (Rapa Nui), Easter Island | ESL TEFL Job

The English Opens Doors Program, sponsored by the Chilean Ministry of Education and the United Nations Develepmont Programme-Chile, is seeking adventurous, talented and committed volunteers to teach English in public schools on Easter Island for six months starting this May. Volunteer positions are competitive and all applicants must be very extroverted and have an intermediate (conversational but not fluent) level of Spanish.

The Chilean Ministry of Education and UNDP offer volunteers:
-Round trip airfare between Santiago and the Island.
-Accomodations with a host family including food.
-A monthly living stipend.
-Comprehensive international medical insurance.
-All expense paid orientation in Santiago, including TEFL training and Spanish classes.
- E-blended online Spanish course prior to departure.
-Pre-departure information and support.

A 600 USD program fee helps to offset these costs.

English Opens Doors also offers 10 week, four, six, and eight month programs that place volunteers in public schools throughout Chile. These placements do not require any Spanish.
