New positions available in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. An exciting opportunity in a brand new center. We are particularly looking for a young, enthusiastic teacher for our Kids department!
Due to expansion of the Linguaphone network, both in Adults and Kids; teaching positions are or will be available in many parts of the country including Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Jinan and Zhenghzou. Full Time teachers work a 40-hour work week. 25 x 50-minute periods are scheduled for face-to-face contact the rest of your day is used for preparation. Linguaphone has its own line of textbooks which students use to prepare for tutorial and practice classes. We provide our teachers with master lesson plans and support materials that are up to date and easy to use, as well as training and assistance with class preparation. Linguaphone caters primarily to young professionals and adults but also has Children’s Centers. Our students in the Children’s Centers range from 3 to 15 years old, and their enthusiasm for English learning is truly inspirational to encounter as a teacher. We focus on ‘edutainment,’ or learning through fun. Linguaphone is committed to quality education. Therefore, we offer a comprehensive training program, run regular teacher development workshops and conduct observations to guide our teaching staff in their professional development. Requirements: • Native English speakers from the U.S.A., Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand • University Degree (Bachelor level or higher) • TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, DELTA or other recognized ESL certificate • EFL classroom experience is preferred, but not essential. • Candidates should be motivated, enthusiastic and open to new experiences.
