Best English Training is “Yantai’s LEADER for English Training.”

           We are a professional language-training center catering to students of all ages, abilities and needs. We are committed to offering enjoyable—but relevant—English courses tailored to the needs of our students. Class sizes range from one-on-one to a maximum of 14 and we provide our teachers with all the resources needed to the best job possible.

          B.E.T. is located in the heart of the Kai Fa Qu (Special Economic Zone) in Yantai. We’re on the 9th floor of a 16-story high-rise, which is 10-minutes walk from what many consider “one of the nicest beaches in all of China.” A truly beautiful place to live and work while furthering yourself both personally and professionally.

Compensation:

            Starting salary is based on experience and will be between 5200 – 6000 RMB; the cost of living in Yantai can allow you to live comfortably on around 2000 RMB. In addition there are regular salary increases, contract completion bonus, paid holidays, round-trip airfare and free Chinese lessons should you want. We also provide and pay for VISA’s and all other proper documentation.

            Individual housing is provided by the school and will include the following items: bed, refrigerator, laundry machine, TV, AC, telephone, microwave oven, sofa, and coffee table. Housing in Yantai’s Special Economic Zone is of a decent standard, or very good for China.

            Contracted working hours are 25 hours maximum per week, though outside the month long summer and winter camps teachers can expect to work less than twenty with two days off a week.

Interested candidates should be people who are able to work on their own initiative or as part of a team with the purpose of bringing a stable and productive working experience to our school. In addition, qualified candidates will have 2 of the following 3 requirements:

1. TESOL and/or TEFL certification

2. College Diploma

3. ESL classroom experience
