If you’re thinking of doing something adventurous this summer, something out of the ordinary, something you’ll remember for a lifetime, consider taking a job as a teacher at one of Aston’s 50 schools in China. Not only will you be spending your summer in one of the most dynamic and historic countries on the planet, but you’ll also make friends with interesting people from throughout the world.

Operating since 1997, Aston Schools is the largest American managed chain of English language schools in China.

• This year’s program begins on July 11th. ‘09 and runs until August 31st. ’09.
• Students range from 7 to 18, with no more than 18 students in a class.
• Cities include Dalian, Xi’an, Changchun, Chongqing, Jinan, Wuhan, Chengdu, plus many more.

Teachers are compensated with a 12,000 RMB stipend + free accommodation in a fully equipped 2 bedroom apartment, which is shared with one other teacher.

Qualifications

• Native English speakers
• Be at least 21 years old
• Preferred nationalities: Canadian, British, American, Australian, Irish, or New Zealanders
• College degree in any subject
• TEFL or other ESL certificate
• Be in good health
