EF English First, Tianjin is looking for native English speakers to join its team of professional and hardworking teachers.

EF Tianjin is an established and successful school. We opened our second branch in June 2006, our third school in June 2007 and our 4th in May 2008. Due to our expanding business we have vacancies for 3 full time teachers. We are building a team of committed teachers who can add value to the school in many ways, so we hope to find people from different countries with different backgrounds.

We teach a variety of classes so we prefer flexible teachers who can teach a range of levels and ages. Preference will be given to teachers who have experience in teaching kindergarten and young children or business English though this is not necessary. We are currently one of the leading providers of corporate English training in Tianjin and this aspect of our business is growing steadily.

Teachers must be native speakers of English with a university degree and a TEFL certificate or equivalent. Teaching experience is an advantage but not essential. Teachers without a formal TEFL certificate but good teaching experience will also be considered. The local government is currently restricting the issue of work permits to people between 24 and 59.

We work a forty hour week with a maximum of 20 hours per week in the classroom.

Salary:

Salaries start at 6,000rmb per month for inexperienced teachers, and more for experienced teachers.
