This is Nanchang University which is located in Gongqing ,Jiujiang City ,Jiangxi Province. It’s known as Gongqing College, Nanchang University. Gongqing city , which is always called as the center of universe by the foreign teachers, is a good place for relaxation and there exist great potential although it is not so rich as Nanchang.It can be easily approach the famous Lushan Mountain ,Poyang lake ,and the ex-president ,Hu Yaobang’ s Cemetery,etc. It’s comparatively near away Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi Province. We can go to Nanchang either by bus or by train and it only takes us 1 hour there.There are nearly 10000 students in the college and the scale is becoming larger and larger. There are more than 1000 students and 40 English teachers in English Department We have our own English newspaper and broadcasting station. We also hold different kinds of contests and activities.
