English Language Training Coordinator Bombardier Aerospace, Military Aviation Training (MAT), a world leader in providing integrated military training solutions, requires highly motivated professionals to become part of a Program Team supporting a World Class Aviation Training Program in Western Canada. Bombardier is currently recruiting for the following position in Vancouver, British Columbia…. English Language Training Coordinator position is responsible for:

Ø      Providing high level expert advice, guidance and over-sight on the management of contracted English Language Training Programs.

Ø      Work closely with the language training providers to ensure their delivery of language training meets the contractual requirements with the customer;

Ø      Monitor the progress of students throughout their training; and

Ø      Assist the Support Services Coordinator in dealing with issues students and families may have adapting to the new culture, dealing with emotional pressures, health concerns, and academic questions

Completion of a Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language (CERTESL), CertTESOL (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) or equivalent certification is required; and College Diploma or University Degree in a relevant field.

Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years experience teaching English as a Second Language.  As well as specific experience in the Management of an English Language training

Program.

Applicants will need to have experience with and ability to work in a cross-cultural Environment.
