Teach English - Edmonton, Canada | ESL TEFL Job

Oxford Seminars International Inc. is looking for dynamic and experienced ESL instructors to deliver 60-hour TESL teacher training courses on a part time, 3-consecutive weekend basis in Edmonton, Alberta.

Eagerly sharing your overseas experiences, you will demonstrate creative and interactive teaching methods, such as Multiple Intelligence Theory and the Communicative Method.

By adapting our curriculum to complement your strengths, our materials minimize your preparation time for class sizes of 15 – 25 students and include:

• Lesson planning
• Classroom management techniques
• Skills development (vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, listening, speaking, reading and writing)
• Contemporary second language acquisition methodologies
• Strategies for acquiring ESL teaching jobs around the world

Major Requirements:

• College or university graduate
• B. Ed, M. Ed, MA TESL would be an asset
• TESL Ontario, TESL Canada or equivalent certification
• 2 or more years of overseas ESL teaching experience

Wage: $1600 per course, paid semi-monthly
